It doesn’t matter how many hours you can offer per day or per week as we support schools who need to cover one student, one small group or one class all the way up to a full timetable. You may be retired, caring for someone, looking to travel the world or perhaps slowly returning to face to face teaching. Criteria
Fully qualified teacher
Current on the DBS update service or willing to be added to the DBS update service
Successfully complete compliance checks including good educational references, a recent lesson observation and interview
Able to work remotely and suitable device / internet connection to fully utilise our learning platform
Training
Some teachers may be unfamiliar with synchronous remote teaching, we aim to support you in effectively communicating your individual pedagogical approach by using the vast range of tools on offer through our learning platform. We offer all associate teachers training sessions to explore this software and to make sure you are comfortable with the technology before your first lesson. You will be also be partnered with one of our trainers who can answer your questions and support you to the door of your first virtual classroom.
Learning Platform
Reach uses Classin’s world leading learning platform to support synchronise remote learning, further details can be found on their website. Reach’s administration team will set up your classroom and populate it with your students. Then it is over to you to create the lessons, making use of the many features on offer to diversify the learning experience in line with the school’s pedagogical approaches.

Payment
Due to the flexibility of our offering payment is either hourly or daily. We currently operate payment based on yearly salary for your experience divided by the average number of school days per year, normally 195 days.

Our associate teachers are all self employed and paid in arrears.
