Our aim is to provide medium or long term synchronous remote teaching which is as flexible as you need it to be. You may have one student, a group of students, a single class or a full timetable you need covered but you cannot get a subject specialist to teach face to face
Our Approach
The process
Contact us using the form below with your requirements and we will send you teacher profiles which meet your needs. Once you have selected from our qualified and trained team we will start the onboarding process. This normally involves two stages one which is led by the school and the other by our team. The school should identify a point of contact, a ‘buddy’ who acts as the in-school point of contact. This buddy will share curriculum information, pastoral details and school policies, such as the safeguarding policies, with the teacher. They will act as the day to day contact for all matters.
At the same time the learning platform is configured for students. This can be done whereby each student has their own login or, if not all students have their own device, one single account can be created to be used in conjunction with the classroom’s board, speakers and webcam. The later works best when there is another adult in the classroom to ensure everything is working and also to support with classroom management, creating an even more positive experience for both the teacher and the learners.
The teacher will provide regular updates to their buddy. This includes curriculum coverage, student progress and any issues or concerns. Teachers will also write reports and conduct any parents evenings. Reach can support in setting up virtual parent evenings if required.
Learning Platform
Reach uses Classin’s world leading learning platform to support synchronous remote learning, further details can be found on their website. Reach’s administration team will set up your classroom and populate it with your students. Then it is over to the teacher to create the lessons, making use of the many features on offer to diversify the learning experience in line with your pedagogical approaches.
